How SMS opt-in works on VolleyHQ

Where consumers opt in
Volleyball clubs on VolleyHQ collect registrations through public event registration pages at URLs of the form volleyhq.com/r/{club}/{event}. These pages require no login. Next to the mobile-phone field, every registration form shows the SMS consent checkbox reproduced below. It is unchecked by default, entirely optional, and never a condition of registering. A phone number is enrolled for text messages only if the person checks the box. Consumers can also opt in later from their account notification settings, or by texting START to our number.

Static reproduction for verification purposes. The live checkbox appears on each club’s public registration pages and is unchecked by default.
What messages are sent
Account and operational notifications only — for example practice-cancellation alerts, registration confirmations, schedule changes, and payment reminders. No marketing or promotional messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.
