SMS Terms & Messaging Policy

Program description

VolleyHQ sends account and operational text messages on behalf of the volleyball clubs that use our platform to parents, guardians, and members who provide their mobile number and opt in. Messages are limited to account and service notifications — for example practice-cancellation alerts, tryout and registration confirmations, schedule changes, payment reminders, and replies to messages you send us. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.

How to opt in

You opt in by checking the clearly labeled SMS-consent box (which is not pre-checked and is never required to register) on a club’s registration form, by enabling text notifications in your account notification settings, or by texting START to our number. Providing consent is optional and is not a condition of registering for any program or making any purchase.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your club’s activity and your account (for example, you receive a text when your athlete’s practice is canceled).

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. VolleyHQ does not charge you for text messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates apply according to your plan.

How to opt out

You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending texts. You can also turn off text notifications in your account settings. To resume, reply START. Carrier STOP suppression applies regardless of your account settings.

Privacy

Your mobile number and SMS opt-in are used solely to deliver the messages described above. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in information or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data is not shared with any third parties except as required to deliver the messages (e.g., our messaging provider). Supported carriers

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and most major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
